Now integrated into SoftWallet! End users can now post to their page what SoftWallet retailer they had visited and also send posts from the SoftWallet interface via the new “Social” button on the app. Simply log into your facebook account from SoftWallet and start socializing your experiences! Let your friends know that you have saved money with SoftWallet offers!

This latest version will map each location for you, telling you where it is and where you are so you can easily find each retailer. You can also dial their phone number from the map page making it easy to contact them directly through SoftWallet You will also notice a marked improvement in response when waking up your phone when the service is running. These are just a few of the enhancements we are adding to the service over the next weeks and months.

Because of the rapid growth of SoftWallet and the addition of so many retailers, we have added several new features to help make it easier to use.

  • “Categories” and” Distance” now help you to narrow your search for retailers.
  • Retailer selections that are in Red are new participants or have added a new special in the last several days.
  • Retailers now customize their presentation with their own logo on the main page.

You have spoken, we are listening. This latest release makes it much easier to navigate and makes you more aware of what the service is actively doing. We have made these additions: 

  • Color coded the store banner:
    • Yellow – communication with the server is occurring while a request is being performed
    • Blue - you are viewing a stores content but not at the store, you can not redeem
    • Green – you are considered at the location, now you can not only view content but you can now redeem too
  • Coupon views are now redeemed and earned. Earned are those such as frequent visit and frequent purchase

Release 1.3

We have made many improvements to the service with this new release. Based on trial results and customer feedback there is even less to do to activate the service. No longer will you have to engage your wifi to start the app. Softwallet now uses your 3G network for all of its functionality making it easy to understand and use.

  • Softwallet allows you to have just have one app for many places so there is no confusing learning curve to understand each one, giving you a better user experience.
  • Detailed customer use coupon history on your phone.
  • Frequent visit and frequent purchase programs.
  • Auto finding so it always knows where you are and what retailer you are visiting.
  • Search for SoftWallet retailers based on mile range, view and Surf any retailers’ softwallet specials anywhere and prior to being there.
  • Real time content delivered to your phone, never keep expired coupons again.

We are expanding our retailer participation greatly over the next several months so check often to see who has come on board. Also look for additional smart phones to come on-line in January of 2010.
